About Glenn Ringtved
Glenn Ringtved is a Danish writer of literature for children and young adults. He was born in 1968 and lives in Copenhagen in Denmark. His first appearance was in 1995 with “Circus Bambino.” Since then he has written 50 books. Many of them has been translated into other languages.

In 2022 “Den kroniske kyssesyge” wins The Blixen-award.
In 2019 “You and me at dawn” wins a Reumert-award.
In 2017 “Cry Heart But Never Break” won the ALA Batchelder Award (USA).
In 2016 “You and me at dawn” is representing Denmark on IBBY’s list of honour,
In 2015 “Kings of Jutland” was elected for the White Raven catalogue
In 2014 Glenn recieved Gyldendals Prize for Writers for children and young adults.
In 2014 Glenn recieved the award “Writer of the year” for “You And Me at Dawn” (Dig og mig ved daggry) from the danish ministry of culture.
In 2013 Glenn recieved the award “Skriverprisen” for “A Good Boy” (En god dreng) from the danish ministry of education.
“You and me at dawn” (Dig og mig ved daggry) written with Sanne Munk Jensen is sold to Germany, Brazil, Norway, Italy and Iceland.
